To further understand and preserve the history of the internment of Japanese Americans in Hawai‘i, we would like to hear from those who lived through this complicated time and learn more about their experiences.

If you or a family member are open to sharing your story, or if you are an educator and have feedback or suggestions concerning our curriculum material, please email us at programs@jcch.com. You can also call the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i at 808.945.7633.

We would love to hear from you, so we can continue to share your stories and ensure that the next generations keep these stories alive.
